image-right Our work is featured on the cover of JAPS - Volume 140, Issue 1-2! About the cover: The photo shows complex extrudate patterns captured inline during the extrusion of polymer melts. Due to a disturbance at the die exit, the extrudate formed large undulations in addition to the surface instabilities.

Trivia: the photo is about 10 years old, taken while Roland was a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof. Manfred Wilhelm at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
